Club members gather for the official opening of the Bangor and North Down Camera Club Annual Exhibition for 2023 on Saturday 5th August


Bangor and North Down camera Club are delighted to announce that their annual exhibition of prints will be on display and can be viewed on the first floor of The Carnegie Library during the month of August.This has particular resonance as for the first time since 2019 a display of actual prints has been possible following an absence due to Covid.


The Bangor club would like to thank branch manager Paula Lamb and her staff for their consideration and assistance with the staging of the exhibition as indeed they have done so in the past .

The Bangor club are delighted to be associated with The Seaside Revival event at Bangor Seafront 100am to 5pm on the 12th of August where members work will be on display alongside vintage photographs of how once looked .



All are welcome to come along to witness the outstanding work by the authors who have submitted images and are welcome to leave any comments via the club web site https://www.bangor-camera-club.co.uk or at bndcc.secretary@gmail.com.The club welcomes new members and anyone interested can contact the club at the above links or come along to the Wednesday club meetings at their 100 Ward Avenue premises and from September on any Friday when the formal season returns . Meeting are scheduled to start at 8 pm .


The club members would like to congratulate their fellow member Hugh Rooney for his award of The Bronze Medal in the NIPA [Northern Ireland Photography Association ] Exhibition .It is through this and its other endeavours that the club contributes much to the social ,artistic and photographic life in Northern Ireland


During this year members have welcomed the return to social meetings and all are congratulated for their efforts in contributing their work and a particular thanks to Alan McMorris Exhibition Secretary and Harry Watson Assistant Exhibition Secretary and those too many to mention who assisted in the setting up in Bangor Library and at the seafront .
