Bangor And North Down Camera ClubAnnual Print Exhibition 2025 and Subsequent Events

On Saturday August 09 members gathered in Bangor Carnegie Library for the formal opening of their annual print exhibition .The club president .committee and members wish to thank the branch manager Daniel Brown and staff for their continued support and assistance in the staging of their exhibition .

Images submitted to to exhibition are Chairs Challenge ,General Colour,General Mono General Digital Projection, Landscape colour,Landscape Mono Landscape Digital Projection, Portrait Colour,Portrait Mono. Portrait Digital Projection, Top Colour Print and Top mono Print .


The club wishes to invite all to visit the library during opening hours to view their work in the themes as outlined above .

The Bangor based club welcomes all those wishing to join a friendly group , either those with experienced or those new to photography who wish to progress their skills in a challenging and rewarding pursuit.

The club intends to host an open day on Saturday 20th September where established members will be on hand to answer any questions and and provide advice by way of an introduction to their activities .It is also intended to provide a six session beginners introduction to photography which will set those attending on the right path to developing their skills .There will be a fee of £30 for six evenings and those deciding to join the club will have this amount deducted from the membership fee.Anyone interested in attending is in the first instance asked to contact the club secretary Hazel Newell bndcc.secretary@gmail.com


It is proposed to hold these sessions at The Wednesday Club date to be confirmed

The club meets at their premises at 100 Ward Avenue Bangor on Friday evening at 8pm during the formal season from September to May an also on Wednesday evening at the same time for informal discussion and practical workshop events through the year . The Wednesday Club is a great way for those new to photography gain experience and develop with the help of established members who can advise and answer and queries .


The club has been granted space to display members work in the late night Art initiative at The Boom Studios 80A Main Street Bangor on Thursday 28th August.

 

Many thanks to all those who have entered their work in the exhibition and thanks to the exhibition secretary Harry Watson and all who assisted in the setting up of the 2025 exhibition .
