The Bangor and North Down Camera Club held its "Audrey Argue" Competition on Friday 8th November, an annual event dedicated to the theme centered around animals while honoring the legacy of Audrey Argue who had a passion for all animals and was an active part of the Camera Club for many years.
Members entries covered a wide range of creativity, from domestic pets to wildlife in their natural habitats.
Our Judge for the evening was John Belshaw from Shorts camera club and he delivered an honest and balanced critique of the images submitted. He spent time explaining what areas of the images were strong and what areas could be improved. He evaluated submitted photographs based on things such as technical quality, composition, creativity, originality and then went on to comment on aspects such as exposure, focus, color balance, and the emotional impact of the images. John provided constructive feedback to help the members improve their work.
The competition was divided into three main sections:
1. Projected Digital Images (PDI)
