Sony NEX-5 (14.2MP) with 16mm f/2.8 lens £250, priced for a quick sale!

The Sony NEX is a super wee camera, and when I say 'wee' I mean really tiny. With the 16mm f/2.8 pancake lens it easily slips into a jacket pocket. Despite its small size it has a big APS-C sensor, which is 50% bigger than the Olympus Four Thirds system and the same size as most modern DSLR's. It has a lot of technical wizardry, for example the panorama automatically stitches everything for you. For the full review click here.

The difference between the NEX-5 and the NEX-3 (cheaper model) is that the NEX-5 has a stronger magnesium alloy based body and records video in full HD, in the excellent AVCHD.

It comes with all the usual extras, plus 2 high speed SD cards (8MB and 4MB), mini tripod, and case but does not include the flash, which I never used and can't find! BTW David Roberts owns a NEX-5, so feel free to ask him about the camera. My reason for selling is that I intend to buy the ridiculously expensive Sony NEX-7
