I took this using the self timer on my compact Sony P200, resting it on one of those big stone bollards. It was tricky to time it so the 2 lighthouses flashed at the same time!
This interior of the RC Cathedral in Armagh is a montage of two exposures. One for the interior the other for the windows. There was a bit of editing to do to ensure the layers blended in a convincing way.
This is one of my first attempts at portrait photography.
I love the clouds in this image and the fortuitous way the group of people on the beach seem to be just at the end of the rainbow.
The wild landscape of Peatlands Park always attracts me and the way these trees were reflected in the pool immediately attracted me.
I was attracted to the way the light was reflecting off the lane in this early morning shot. Also liked the way the lines of trees recede into the distance.
The spires of St Patrick's cathedral are a local landmark in Armagh and they make a perfect silhouette for a colourful sunset.
A chance encounter with this man out walking his greyhounds on a foggy day led to this shot.
