Summer Outings 2008

David Best has kindly organised

This years outings will take place on the first Saturday of May, June, July & August.  We will meet at the club rooms at 8.50 am to leave at 9.00am sharp, we will decide at the end of each day whether to have a meal locally or to go straight home.  Groups can arrange to travel together beforehand or lifts can be agreed on the morning before we set off, contributions towards travel cost are left up to the individual.  The cost of each outing is £4 per person.

Please remember that the outings are not restricted to club members, friends and family are very welcome.  If you are a visitor to this web site and have not come to the club yet you are welcome to join us to meet us before the commencement next year’s program.

The aim of Bangor and North Down Camera Club is

to promote and develop all aspects of photography

through example, discussion and competition.

 

Thank you for taking the time to visit our web site. The Bangor and North Down Camera Club has been in existence since 1960. We have permanent premises and our clubroom is well equipped to cater for almost all photographic needs. We encourage and welcome members from all levels of photographic ability: from new beginners; to enthusiasts and well worn experienced film / digital photographers.

The key to our success is the willingness and enthusiasm of the members to share their knowledge, skills and experience and make all new members warmly welcome. We offer a detailed weekly programme of meeting events on Friday evening (September to May). We also meet every Wednesday (throughout the year) for informal 'Show me how you do that?' sessions. Such activities include: classes in; Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture NX, ProShow, Pictures to Exe, mounting demonstrations; and so on.

You are cordially invited to come to any our Friday / Wednesday evening events and sample the Club activity and ambience for yourself.
